Rachel Tozzi

Rachel was born in New Jersey as the only Deaf person in her family. They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada just before she was one year old. There she grew up, graduated from high school, and attended Gallaudet University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Upon graduation from Gallaudet, she relocated to Utah where she taught families of children with hearing loss from newborns to age 6 for three years. She has siblings who have disabilities and has helped them to become independent or find a way around barriers towards a solution. Rachel does not believe in the word ‘can’t;’ in her eyes, anything is possible! Rachel enjoys dancing, meeting people, learning new things and going on adventures.
